At Sam 7 Computers & Networks, our story is one of adaptation, technical mastery, and an unwavering commitment to support. Founded by Sampath K Iyengar, our journey began at the dawn of India’s IT revolution. While others rushed toward software, we found our calling in the unyielding strength of hardware and infrastructure—the layer everything else depends on.
Our roots: engineering excellence
Sampath built his foundation at the cutting edge of the industry. Trained on Epson technology at General Electronics and later serving as a lead engineer at Minafax Computers, he became the trusted hand behind systems for India’s most demanding environments—including VSNL, TIFR, IOCL, and HUDCO.
With a reputation for troubleshooting the “unsolvable” and building lasting relationships, he took the entrepreneurial leap to establish Systems & Services—the company known today as Sam 7.

In an era where many focused solely on sales, Sam 7 was built on a different blueprint. From our early days as a retail pioneer with HP showrooms in Bandra and Andheri, we maintained a 1:5 sales-to-support ratio—deliberately weighting the organisation toward people who fix, document, and stand behind what we ship.
